What's happening people? Well, I've been poking around my SMB2 hack lately & I want to know if someone can give me a hand. 1st. question, Where is the offset located in hex that determines the speed of birdo's egg when she spits it out? I want to make it fast the same way that when birdo spits out a straight flying Beezo.

2nd. question, Where are the offsets located in hex when it comes to the subspace palette? I know it's (01 0F 0F 0F) I want to change it to (0C 0F 0F 0F). If I can get a hand I would really appreciate it. Thanks

You should be able to search for that particular string (01 0F 0F 0F) and change it to the desired values. If there is more than one, change them in order, or look for more palette data in the area and change that one, until the effect occurs. Create a savestate in subspace so you can check it.

About Birdo's egg, there should be FAQs out there.

I have a very nasty habit of using the NES Palette Editor. I keep forgetting it's not really that good. I use Hexecute (Windows version) I did the changes, thanks SB. I'll just have to look for a FAQ on that egg speed.

EDIT: Bbitmaster helped me out with the egg speed, thanks to his soon to be released FCUXD.
